WASP seems to work properly on some Windows 98 machines and not on others.
The problem can be seen when you open an Applesoft file from a disk image.
On problem machines the file is not formatted correctly. The whole program is displayed without carriage returns.

The following procedure has fixed the problem on a Windows 98se machine:

1. download riched32.dll (v5.1.2600.0) and riched20.dll (v5.30.23.1221). These files can be found at various sites on the internet.
2. copy them to the directory where WASP.exe is located.
3. copy the file WASP.exe.local (found in this directory) to the directory where WASP.exe is located.

The next time you run WASP the line formatting should be correct.
No other program on your machine will be using these DLLs.

Do NOT copy the Riched DLLs to your system directory as you may cause problems with other programs.
